  • Stress relief. The most classic way to relax and lift your mood is to eat "something good" and have a glass of wine or beer alongside. Please leave food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. To relieve stress, go outside for a walk, relax in a bubble bath, or simply sit in a quiet room and meditate.
  • Sharing praise. "Well done, take a candy!" How many millions of times have you heard this? This creates a strong association that every achievement is followed by a dessert. Try praising with words or actions that are not food-related, like a hug or a congratulatory card.
  • Boredom relief. Don't know what to do with your free time? You're resting at home but something feels missing? Chips, snacks, and nuts are the typical characters that appear on the table at that moment of boredom to save you. Instead, find an interesting book, start a new hobby, or spend time with friends and family to beat boredom.
